Computer-aided composition


I have participated to the following recent projects funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) :

  • EFFICAC(e): Extended Frameworks for "In-time" Computer-Aided Composition, 2013–2017.
    Coordinator and lead researcher.
  • DYCI2: Creative Dynamics of Improvised Interaction, 2015–2018.
  • INEDIT: Interactivity in the writing of time and interaction, 2012–2015.

In 2016 I have spent part of the academic year at CNMAT (Center for New Music and Audio Technologies, UC Berkeley) as a Fulbright visiting scolar.

  • OpenMusic (OM): Visual programming language for music composition
  • o7: A prototype new implementation of OM
  • symbolist: Vector graphics notation editor (with Rama Gottfried)
  • Musique Lab 2: Music education software based on OpenMusic
  • SDIF-Edit: Visualisation of SDIF sound description data
  • Spatialisation Tools: Streaming and visualization of source trajectories
